What’s  wrong  with

modern  engineering?

·       It is irrational.  It requires that engineering phenomena be described by dimensionally homogeneous equations, even though engineering phenomena are dimensionally heterogeneous.

·       It is mathematically unsound.  It is based on concepts that make it necessary to solve problems with the variables combined, even though problems are easier to solve if the variables are separated.

The new engineering is based on a rational view of dimensional homogeneity, and on concepts that allow problems to be solved with the variables separated.  The new engineering will replace modern engineering because it is easier to learn and to apply, and because it simplifies the solution of practical engineering problems.

The new engineering is described and applied in my book, The New Engineering.  It may be downloaded for personal use from my website, thenewengineering.com, or purchased from Amazon.com or bookstores.   (The paperback edition is $14.95, the hardcover edition is $34.95.)

My website also includes my publications and conference presentations, and narratives that relate my experiences during the 40 years I have endeavored to gain global acceptance for the new engineering.

I will teach the new engineering on a free Internet course that starts on December 5.  To enroll, please contact me at efadiutori@aol.com.
